Find out about all the extra-curricular clubs we run.
Our School Choir is open to pupils in the Junior classes of the school. They are a dedicated group of children who are always happy to stay after school to practice and never want to leave at the end of a session!
The choir is active in the Autumn and Spring Terms and in other terms before a special occasion.
Last year they sang in a very special show with Cwmbach Male Voice Choir at the Coliseum Theatre, Aberdare. It was the Choir's very popular Annual Christmas Concert and it was an amazing experience for both staff and pupils!
Of course, the choir are also practising for carol singing, school events and community events at Christmas and will be singing at Asda and Tesco nearer the end of December.
Below are some of the choir members singing at the 50th Anniversary party of Maesyffynnon Residential Care Home last year. (Sorry for the poor quality in places!)
Gardening club is held on Wednesdays and is extremely popular with Infant and Junior pupils!
Many thanks to everyone who supported our stall in the Christmas Market today. We raised £70 selling our handmade wreaths and Christmas trees. The money will support our gardening activities next year.

We made Courgette Soup.
Mrs Williams runs Art Club.
There are several Sports Clubs, catering for different disciplines:
This club is run by Mr Vaughan after school on Tuesdays. Children who participate in this club need to be prepared to be chilled to the bone, wet through and muddier than your average hippopotamus!
Fitness club will be taken by Pastor Stagner, this term for year 3 and 4 pupils.
Mr Jones is in charge of the football club which runs on a Thursday after school. This involves both training in school and, if selected, playing in matches against other schools.
CCFC Football Camp
Cardiff City Football Premier Stars coaching run by Gazza on Thursday after school. This training camp lasts 6 weeks and is run twice a year.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
