Visions and Values

Our School Vision

A school vision statement is about sharing with all of our community (pupils, families, governors, staff and Aberaman) what we are creating in our school. It outlines what is important to us and where we are heading together as a school focusing on our pupils, families, staff and governors and their needs.

Our School Values

Our values define what is important to us as a school and are the principles which guide our thinking and behaviour everyday. Every individual in our school community is valued for who they are and what they contribute to the school.

Our values have been chosen by our pupils, parents, staff and governors and represent the 11 principles that are most important to us as a school. Values support the personal, social and spiritual development of every pupil throughout the school. A value is assigned to each month we are in school and will be the focus of a weekly assembly, circle time activity and other tasks for our classes. We will share our class work and examples of where we are 'living the values' on this website and on twitter. Annually we will review our values with the school community and may make amendments.
