• Attendance % Letters for all pupils - Red, Amber or Green

  Hello #teamblaengwawr, as you know in our school we aim to ensure that all children attend school regularly and on time to ensure that they are able to make the most of their educational experiences. 

   

  Research has shown that children with good school attendance build up stronger friendship groups and are happy learners and this is why attendance in school every day is a key school priority.

  Research has also shown the negative impact of lateness and absence on pupil's educational achievement and future opportunities and as a school we don't want to limit our pupils later life opportunities.

   

  Both whole school, class and individual pupil attendance is regularly monitored by our leadership team. As we mentioned in one of our spring term newsletters we will be reviewing each pupil's termly attendance and sending an individual letter out to parents to show if they are in the green, amber or red % band.
